AFYAKITU connects pharmacies, drug shops and health facilities with licensed health professionals. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the AFYAKITU app, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have over it.
The AFYAKITU app and platform (“AFYAKITU”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) are operated by Afyakitu company limited, a company registered in the United Republic of Tanzania.

We collect only the information we need to verify users, match jobs with professionals, process payments, and keep the platform safe. What we collect depends on your role and how you use the app.

| Verification documents | Premise registration certificates, registration payment receipts, professional licences, and for fundis NIDA, passport and proof-of-work documents (uploaded as images or PDFs), together with licence numbers and expiry dates. |
| Photos | Profile photos and photos attached to job posts (for example, a shop or shelf photo). |
| Jobs & applications | Job posts you create, applications you submit, allowances offered (nauli, meals, accommodation), and the status of each application. |
| Payments & wallet | Wallet credits, top-ups, posting charges, and nauli amounts you fund, together with related transaction records. Card or mobile-money details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us. |
| Device & technical | Device push-notification token, app version, device type, log data and approximate IP-based location used to deliver notifications and keep the service reliable and secure. |
You do not have to give us every piece of information, but some features such as posting a job, getting a premise verified, or applying for work will not be available without the information they require.
